Concrete Sealing & Maintenance questions, answered
How often should concrete be resealed?
Decorative finishes usually need resealing every 2–3 years, especially in full sun or near the beach.
Can you seal concrete you didn’t pour?
Absolutely. We seal and maintain concrete regardless of who installed it.
Which sealer is right for my concrete?
Penetrating sealers protect without changing the look and suit driveways. Gloss acrylic sealers deepen colour on decorative concrete. Anti-slip additives go in for pools and slopes.
How do you prepare concrete before sealing?
We pressure-clean to remove dirt, mould and old flaking sealer. Stains are treated, and the concrete must be dry before sealing so the sealer bonds properly.
How soon can I use my concrete after sealing?
Foot traffic is usually fine after a few hours. Wait 24–48 hours before driving on it, depending on the sealer and the weather.
