Garage Slabs
Built for the weight of the car, not just the footprint.
Garage and carport slabs carry concentrated wheel loads every day, so we build them thicker and better reinforced than a typical patio. We tie them into your driveway levels and add a set-down or step at the door to keep stormwater out.
Often chosen with flake flooring, epoxy concrete flooring, steel trowel finish.

Garage Slabs questions, answered
Can I park a boat or caravan on it?
Yes, if we know upfront. Heavier vehicles need a thicker slab and heavier steel — we’ll specify it during the site measure.
Can you coat the floor afterwards?
We finish garage slabs smooth so they’re ready for epoxy or sealing once fully cured, typically after 28 days.
Can a new garage slab tie into my house slab?
Yes. We drill and dowel steel bars into the existing slab edge so the two slabs act together. We then form a neat joint so any movement shows as a straight line.
How do you set the right fall on a garage floor?
A slight fall towards the door lets water and wash-down run out instead of pooling. We keep it gentle so benches and cabinets still sit level.
Can you pour a garage slab under an existing roof?
Yes. If a concrete truck can’t reach, we pump or barrow the concrete in. We set screed rails so the finish stays level under low roof lines.
