Concrete Removal & Demolition questions, answered
Is removal included in a new driveway quote?
If you’re replacing concrete with us, removal is itemised in the same fixed quote so you can see exactly what it costs.
Do you recycle the concrete?
Clean concrete is taken to recycling facilities to be crushed into roadbase — keeping it out of landfill.
How do you remove concrete without damaging the house?
We saw-cut a clean line where demolition stops, then break out with a jackhammer or small excavator, working away from walls and pipes. Plumbing and services are located first.
Can you remove pavers and the bedding sand?
Yes. Pavers, sand and old road base are removed and the ground is levelled ready for new concrete or turf.
What happens to the old concrete?
Broken concrete goes to a recycling facility where it is crushed into road base. Very little ends up in landfill.
