Concrete Crack Repairs

Stop small cracks becoming big bills.

Cracks let water into the slab and sub-base, which can lead to sinking, rusting steel and larger failures. We assess why the crack formed, then route, fill and seal it with the right flexible or structural product.

Often chosen with concrete repairs, concrete resurfacing, concrete sealing & maintenance.

Guide: Why does concrete crack?

Concrete Crack Repairs questions, answered

Are all cracks a problem?

No. Fine shrinkage cracks are common and mostly cosmetic. Cracks that widen, have uneven sides or let water in should be repaired.

Will the crack come back?

If the slab is still moving, a flexible sealant accommodates it. We’ll explain the cause so you know what to expect.

How do you repair a hairline crack?

We clean out the crack and fill it with a flexible or epoxy filler to match the movement expected. Hairline shrinkage cracks are cosmetic, so the aim is to seal out water and dirt.

What does a wide or uneven crack mean?

A crack wider than a few millimetres, or with one side higher than the other, suggests the ground is moving. We look for the cause, often drainage or tree roots, before recommending a repair.

Can a cracked driveway be fixed without replacing it?

Often, yes. Stable cracks can be filled, cut into neat joints or covered by resurfacing. If a slab keeps moving or breaking up, replacing that section is more reliable.
