Epoxy Concrete Flooring questions, answered

Will epoxy peel off?

Peeling usually comes from poor preparation or moisture. We test moisture and diamond-grind every floor to get a proper bond.

Is epoxy slippery?

Gloss epoxy can be slippery when wet, so we add anti-slip grit for garages, ramps and wet areas.

How is a floor prepared for epoxy?

We diamond-grind the concrete to open the surface, repair cracks and remove contaminants. Good grinding is the main reason epoxy stays bonded.

How long does epoxy take to cure?

Light foot traffic is usually fine after 24 hours and vehicles after several days. Full chemical resistance takes about a week, depending on temperature.

Can epoxy go over a floor with moisture problems?

Moisture rising through a slab can lift epoxy. We test older slabs and use a moisture-tolerant primer where needed.
